The 4th of July Tennis Social was fantastic this year thanks to all of the amazing players who attended. It also marked the beginning of a new GPCTA service for tennis players across Grants Pass: tennis ball recycling. That's right, we are setting up tennis ball drop boxes where people can put their used balls if they would like to have them recycled. Currently the drop box is located at the Gilbert Creek tennis courts. If you have any old tennis balls which you'd like to put to a good use, just drop them in the recycling box, and we will get them recycled into items ranging from dog toys, horse footing, and even tennis courts! Tons of tennis balls were dropped off during the 4th of July unveiling and we hope that the boxes continue to be useful for everyone heading forward.
